Here you push the door, go inside the shop, choose, pay for it, and done!
It took 13 hours of direct flight, 4 movies, and an electronic bowling match with an old lady for Mussa; a photojournalist from the West Bank city of Hebron to reach the Big Apple.
Being a huge fan of electronics, Mussa was fascinated with the idea of finding an electronics store around almost every corner in New York. He says that back in his home country, electronic devices and equipment are very expensive. The prices are high because taxes must be paid to both Israel and the Palestinian Authority for
imported goods. There is also an overall shortage of specialized electronics in Palestine. Here in New York, Mussa found that everything is mostly available; electronics and lighting kits are less than half the price that he would pay in Hebron. He can save time and money just by being in NYC.
