The Smile Can Unite Us

“I will learn how to accept every person despite his colour and religion.”

Traveling to many places has helped Fadi Ghattas learn about the cultural diversities of each country. He comes from Bethlehem-Palestine, the Holy Land which hosts the three monotheistic religions, three distinct and separate religious communities. Unlike his home city, Fadi noticed from his first days in NYC that people smile to each other despite being strangers. He even felt welcomed by the people in the stores and taxis.

He has found Arabs, Africans and other nationalities in New York particularly friendly. Fadi is happy to share his positive impressions about New York culture with his Palestinian audience back home on Radio Orient Bethlehem.
